1. Project Background

With the booming demand for lightweight, special-shaped and embedded installation of automotive interior ambient lights, body running lights, door contour lights and bumper decorative lights, traditional 2D flat light strips can no longer meet the complex installation scenarios of vehicle manufacturers and modification customers.

Most conventional automotive light strips on the market adopt traditional 2D structure, which have obvious drawbacks. They can only bend in a single direction, with rigid corner shaping, poor fitting for uneven curved surfaces, obvious installation gaps, easy fracture after bending, and unnatural light radian. These problems lead to high rework rate, low product yield, incoherent vehicle light effects, and seriously affect the overall vehicle texture and project delivery efficiency.

To solve the actual installation pain points of automotive customers, our company has customized and developed the 12*08MM 3D omni-directional flexible silicone light strip. It supports multi-angle bending in all directions (up, down, left and right), which is specially designed for special-shaped curved surfaces of automotive interior and exterior parts.
